Two UFO sightings in one hour over Orlando area
Witnesses in separate locations in the Orlando, Florida, area reported observing a UFO on the evening of November 4, 2012.
The first report to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) came from a witness who noticed a flying object as they drove on Challenger Parkway from Route 408 at 8:41pm. At first, the unnamed witness thought he was looking at a helicopter. What they saw next confused the witness.
"Then I noticed yellow/white lights circling around it, revealing a disc-like shape."
The witness added that as the object moved forward and away from them, it was evident that the low flying object was, "definitely not a helicopter and moving smoothly away." The witness was able to take a picture of the object.
Possibly related second sighting was report an hour later.
A second report came in to MUFON an hour later at 9:40 pm from a witness driving south on Interstate 4 near Exit 82. The witness and his 12 year old son saw an object fly southwest over the highway less than a mile front of them. They sped up to identify the object, stating "that it was not a helicopter or airplane."
They estimated that the object was flying over the highway at pace with southbound traffic at about 70 mph.
They described the UFO having "approximately eight square lights emanating from the object. Periodically one or more of the lights would turn off and then turn back on a few seconds later. We never got close enough to determine if the object was disc-shaped."
During their estimated 20 minute long sighting as they followed it, the witness reported "the object moved left and right and flew on both the north and south sides of Interstate 4. However, when the object moved left or right, the lights remained horizontal. The object did not bank or turn. Instead, it remained flat, so to speak."
They eventually lost sight of the object.
The witness claimed to have been lawyer in Florida for 18 years and familiar with the difficulty of eyewitness observations, adding "We really saw this. It was not a plane. It was not a helicopter."
